Traditional Chinese medicine, abbreviated as TCM, is the oldest, continually practiced system of medicine in history. Marrying the traditional healing methods of Chinese medicine with modern technological advances, we help patients to understand how the meridian system of the body affects their experience of health. We use the myriad of treatment methods available to TCM practitioners, including acupuncture – both body and auricular (ear), electro-acupuncture, cupping (ba guan 拔罐), scraping (gua sha 刮痧), Chinese herbal formulations, and Chinese medical massage (tui na 刮痧). The treatment we provide assists the patient’s body in healing itself and achieving optimal health.

Acupressure

For many people the fear of needles leads them to believe that an acupuncturist is not the practitioner for them. Acupressure allows us to treat the points without puncturing the skin. Current patients have enjoyed this treatment method, especially on traditionally painful acupoints. Not only is there no pain, but it requires less time in the office!

Cosmetic Acupuncture

We also offer a Pain-free* Acupuncture Facelift. Reduce the signs of aging – fine lines and wrinkles around eyes, mouth, forehead, etc, as well as improve the overall appearance of the face with chemical free, natural methods. Education

After receiving her MAOM from the Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, CA, our practitioner was awarded a full scholarship from the Chinese Scholarship Council and spent 5 years pursuing advanced studies at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in Beijing, China. The opportunity to study this medicine in the region of its founding led to the rich experience and deeper understanding of this system of medicine which allow her to provide the best possible service to her patients. She even speaks Mandarin Chinese!
